The days are long

The days feel long

And years go slow

And years pass slowly

Not much to learn

There's not much to learn

No room to grow

No space to grow

The time will heal

Time will heal

But these wounds are all I feel

But I only feel these wounds

Been spared to live

I've been spared to live

The page won’t turn

But the story won't continue

I'll always give

And linger torn

And remain torn

With all I’ve met

With everyone I've met

Not one memory to forget

Not a single memory to forget

And there's nothing to repent

And there's nothing to regret

Morrow will come

Tomorrow will come

Here I'll remain

I'll stay here

Nothing will change

Still I'll decay

Yet I'll decay

These mortal ghouls

These mortal spirits

Torment my endless soul

And I'm only as loud

As the silence allows

As the silence lets me be

Please don´t force me to stay

Please don't make me stay

Make it all fade away

Let it all disappear

Take me back to that time and place

I can’t seem to endure this test

To resume the bold warrior’s face

To become the brave warrior again

Has withstood all my lastingness
